Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

Uma janela de frente para o mar e costas nas encostas da costa Norte da Ilha do Pico. Sentado na poltrona pouso o olhar em São Jorge lá deitado ao longe. Nos pés da casa o mar enovela-se como gato que ronrona. Fecho os olhos e sorrio, encontrei o paraíso... Antiga adega de pesca totalmente reconstruída na primeira fileira de frente para o mar. Stay in a dream lava home with a heated outdoor pool and an incredible sea view. Close to the sea, this lava house was fully restored from the ruins of a hundred-year-old lava house. We just installed the pool heating system so that, even in Winter, you can have a swim - Bliss!
