We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Privately nestled in a tall pine and aspen forest. At 9,300 ft, the summers are cool, the wildflowers are plentiful and the stars are bright. Very private, very quiet. Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitoes. Enjoy your stay in our mosquito-less mountain.

Tucked Away Stay - Close To Town and In Nature

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

The Bastion is a spacious craftsman timber frame home with wood burning stove located on 40 acres, minutes from Joyful Journey and Valley View hot springs. Goat friends await at this modern & cozy ranchette. The home well-situated for exploring the hidden gems and natural wonders scattered across this valley. Listing is for a private, 2 bed 1 bath home with kitchen, living room, and large garage as well as access to parts of the land. Host lives on property, in a nearby detached casita.

Retreat at Roundhill - Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway. We offer discounts for weekly/longer stays.

Riverbend Retreat Guest Suite

This secluded riverside location is just the place for a quiet and comfortable getaway, 3 miles from downtown Salida. Our rural setting is beautiful in every season, offering views of the mountain valley as well as direct access to fishing easements on the Arkansas River. The private suite is an addition to our home with its own exterior entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, and small dining area. This space is most comfortably used by 2 adults with children, or 3 adults sharing the suite.
