Crisp and cozy, modern studio apartment with private entrance, and access to park-like backyard, located right in the center of the Columbia, Irmo and Ballentine areas of SC. Quiet and tidy neighborhood, with free off-street parking for up to two vehicles. Just minutes from Lake Murray, Saluda Shoals Park and River, shopping and restaurants, approximatly 15-20 minutes from down town Columbia, the Vista, U of SC & CIU campuses, Williams-Brice Stadium, and about 20-25 minutes from Fort Jackson.

Island Retreat: Quiet and convenient.

This beautiful studio is in a private house on one of Savannah's barrier Islands. It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. The room has a small private bath with shower with rain head, a full closet, coffee maker and fridge, vanity table. Mark, co-host, is a retired local guide who can provide information if needed. This cute one-bedroom bungalow is fully self-contained. Though it is attached to the main house, it has its own private entrance and porch, complete kitchen, and full-size washer/dryer. It is conveniently located in a quiet, southside neighborhood: less than a mile from Lake Mayer park, about 10 minutes from Sandfly & Skidaway, 15 minutes from downtown and River Street, and only 30 minutes to Tybee beaches. There is covered parking at the back and a beautiful live oak tree in the front.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

Situated in the Landmark Historic District, enjoy all that downtown Savannah has to offer on foot and come back to relax in a historic home, built in the late 1800s!

Briarcliff Garden Guest Suite

Charming private guest suite in a wooded neighborhood only nine minutes from downtown Athens. Located on the first level of a 1950’s single family house, our family lives upstairs. There is a chance you may be able to hear our toddler or baby from upstairs :) If this is not something you’re comfortable with, we may not be your best option for your visit to Athens. However, recent guests haven’t had any issues with noise, check out our reviews!

Lovely Loft in Starland with Private Entrance

This vacation studio was a labor of love -- I wanted to create a truly unique, comfy, open space, with a cool, eclectic vibe. We built a new bathroom and private entrance, with ceilings bumped up to the roof. We more recently added a small deck outside the guests' door, and created a funky garden/sitting area as well.
