Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

Located on Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm, home to the only Glassblowing Hot Shop in Mississippi. Featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”, we welcome fans of the show. The house is 2,600sqft. New granite countertops and Wifi. We have 28 goats & 19 baby goats. Kidding season is Feb-Mar. Tree Farm is busy from Nov 15- Dec 15. This is not a pet friendly listing due to severe pet allergies. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax you have found it. We have 2 ponds stocked with catfish, bass and bream. The home has everything you need to cook a great meal, including fresh rosemary and basil growing in pots at the front door. This listing is 30 minutes to Hattiesburg and Laurel. We are located 1 1/2 hours from the coast and casinos. We are 1 1/2 hours to Mobile and 2 1/2 hours to New Orleans.
