Swallows Nest, Harwood Dale

The cottage is in a rural setting on a working farm near Scarborough. It is a bungalow with two internal steps, one leading from the lounge to the dining area and a second leading to the bedrooms and it is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids). We also allow a well behaved dog at the property. There are two bedrooms, a double with en suite shower room and a twin bedroom. The property is self catering. Travel Cot,Outside dog kennel facility is available.

Our beautifully converted barn is ideally located in the picturesque village of Ruston. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

Relax & unwind as you enjoy the views over field & forest from the patio. Just open the door and let your dog have fun in the fully fenced paddock. Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate.
