The Lakehouse

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

Come experience farm life for yourself and stay at The Owl’s Nest Wilderness Cottage – our private, off grid retreat that boasts open pastures, wildlife and a warm Nova Scotia welcome! Come enjoy the views of beautiful Belliveau Lake in the Acadian community of Clare. This newly built one-level lakeside cottage is perfectly situated for you to enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Cottage includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Prior to your arrival we will send you detailed directions as you will travel roughly 8km on maintained dirt roads. We live on the same lake so we won't be far if you need anything.

Bright, breezy, and peaceful, The Rising Tide is perfect for couples or solo travelers. Located beside The Wheelhouse Restaurant, the area is lively from 12 PM–8 PM but quiet afterward, ideal for relaxing with morning coffee on your private deck watching the tides roll in or out. Inside, enjoy a kitchenette, private bath, and easy access to the Digby County Trail and downtown shops. Local scallops are steps away.
