Hello and welcome to Shellrock Cabin, part of the Nelson Creek Cabin vacation rentals! Our property is nestled on 2 quiet acres with views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. Plenty of parking for boats and RV's. Shellrock cabin is a comfortable place where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.

CHICKEN SHACK: A small unique cabin on the river!

The Chicken Shack is the nickname for our getaway to relax, disconnect from cell phones and work to hang out with our friends on the deck or by the fire. This is a cabin we built for ourselves with some unique features , a great bar with a place to BBQ. Although we only have room for two in the cabin our property includes a 12’x16’ tent platform and a 30-amp RV hookup. We are dog friendly but no fences. The large deck with covered BBQ area and awesome view make up for the small cabin.

Treehouse in Stevenson, WA Columbia River Gorge

Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.

Blackbird Cottage on Carson Creek - Entire Suite

Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen & dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer plus a deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin providing sleeping for 7. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & a picnic area or take a short hike to an overlook of the Columbia River Owner lives downstairs. No animals (allergies).

A small, cozy cabin perched above the White Salmon River, just minutes from town. Enjoy the expansive 180 degree views from your private little forest oasis or take advantage of the central location to explore all The Gorge has to offer. We've recently renovated this private retreat to keep our visiting friends and family comfortable. The Izer Treehouse is an incredible off-grid retreat. Nestled in a secluded setting amongst the tree-tops overlooking the Bull Run River Canyon, it's the perfect hideaway for couples seeking a romantic escape or BFFs looking for an adventurous getaway. Follow the path and bridge through the trees to your own little treetop oasis. This standalone space rests 30 feet above the forest floor and is perfect for reconnecting with nature and getting away from real-life.

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
