On trail: Arts village Wassaic (3 miles south) Millerton (8 miles north). Train to NYC is 2.5m south. Tons in area: wineries, distillery, lakes, hiking, theatre & quaint towns.

It is located in the heart of Pine Plains, a short walk to the town center. Perfect for 2-4 people. We currently have a 2 night min. stay and 3 night min. for holiday weekends. La Barn Bleue sits on top of a hill by a forest, in a secluded and peaceful property. The main house, where we live is 150 feet down the hill. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The bedroom/lounge loft has one king bed and 2 twin beds. Ideal for families and kids above 5 years old. Because we use a rope railing, we cannot host kids under 5 years old for security reasons. We offer Wifi, AC/heat split unit, outdoor Picnic table, bbq, petanque court and pool!

Thank you to all our wonderful guests, We are closed for the winter. Come see us in the spring. A quiet and private get away, light and airy, surrounded by forest. Birds and deer are visible from the doorways. Relaxing trails start at the cottage. After your walk enjoy the 16x36 unheated gunite pool. The cottage works well for a couple or a couple with children. 2 night minimum required. Pets welcome. Pet owners passing through may stay 1 night.
