There are two pubs serving food daily and the Marina Bar with its excellent cuisine. A perfect base to explore the salt marsh coast with its extensive walks Maldon is only a short drive away which is a buzzing coastal town

Here at The Lodge pubs/cafes are just up the road or you can relax on the decking with a glass of wine from the local vineyards. This spacious Victorian cottage is a great base to explore the coast , walk, birdwatch or paddleboard. Situated in the traditional fishing village of Tollesbury the cottage has a lovely dining area, fully stocked kitchen, two large bedrooms and garden. We’re a 5 minute walk from the water and access to miles of coastal seawall walks and nature reserves looking over the river Blackwater. Tollesbury is a popular place in summer with a saltwater swimming lido and many water based activities.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is situated behind our house down a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. It consists of 1 double bedroom but can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot and highchair available. 2 single airbeds with additional bedding and pillows. It boasts a large patio with quality furniture solely for guests' use. The jacuzzi is an added luxury and £15 is requested during your stay if used. There's a large fully stocked pond Guests are welcome to feed the fish.

Take time out, a bit of countryside , car ride to the city of Chelmsford and 7 mins in the car to historic Maldon, Cold norton is quite central for getting about, set in 1.5 acres, ideal for walkers leaving via the back gate onto footpaths across the fields towards Fambridge and Burnham on crouch , local village pub accepts dogs within walking distance. big tv netflix, complimentary drink at your own bar .

Blackhouse Farm Granary is a small self - contained property within the grounds of Blackhouse Farm. It is located in St Lawrence, not far from the quaint town of Maldon and the Village of Bradwell-on-sea. It is a newly refurbished space which provides kitchen facilities, a lounge, a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, wardrobe space and plenty of on site parking (see photos). The owners are happy for guests to enjoy the garden which surrounds their beautiful home.
