Perfect for the nature lover or just to spend a relaxing day on the beach, only 2 minutes away. The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

This utterly delightful Georgian cottage sits beside the most beautiful area of Aldeburgh Beach. Perfectly positioned in a sunny spot, tucked just off Aldeburgh High Street, and only steps away from the stairs that access the breathtakingly beautiful sea and shingle beach. Decorated to the highest specification, The Chocolate-Box features a roll-top bathtub, bespoke kitchen, cosy fireplace and a wonderful old oak dining table, a mahogany writing desk and sun-trap courtyard.

The Old Lamp Room. Self contained annexe

The Old Lamp Room used to store the lamps for the lighthouse until it became automatic. It is now an annexe to the old Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, which is our family home. Guests have their own front door and are free to use the small front courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs. Situated up a small path, behind the lighthouse and moments from the beach. The high street with its shops, restaurants and pubs is a 5 minute stroll away. An ideal cosy bolt hole.

Upper Alde Barn is a luxury barn conversion within the grounds of Dernford Hall, set in 32 acres of Private Nature Reserve this is a truly peaceful getaway with landscaped private river walks. The barn contains a stunning galleried bedroom overlooking the dramatic lounge area complete with oak beams and an open fireplace. Private enclosed garden great for those with dogs. The only noise is the sound of birdsong.
