We truly want Everyone to feel welcome here! Bar Harbor is a scenic 45 minute drive away. There is great hiking/xc skiing in our huge back yard (Sunrise trail/Maine reserve land) Rustic farm apartment with full kitchen. Farm veg can be bought in season, sometimes eggs& our own wine, jam, hot sauce, maple syrup. Just ask! Can accommodate 6 folks, one in a cupola! Hot shower & heat. There is a sawdust compost toilet-Easy to use & no smell! We recognize we are on unceded Wabanaki land. 🙏🏼

Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Edgewater Cabins

Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants and dining, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park. There are 2 other small cabins plus larger ones available that can accommodate families. In July and August there is a 7 night minimum stay from Sat. to Sat.

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

For added guests - there is a fully equipped RV pad with hookups (50 amp, water, sewer) available for an additional fee. This is a shared lot with a second home occupied by the owners.
