It is very well equipped to make everyone feel at home away from home. Reykjavik centrum is 10 km away. The kitchen has all necessary appliances and cutlery. Sleeping arrangement is a queen size bed and a sleeping sofa with down duvets and pillows. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a large walk in shower and a washer/dryer

A grocery store is only a few minutes' walk away, and there are several restaurants nearby. The house features two balconies, and the area offers trails for walking, running, or biking. These trails connect you throughout the greater Reykjavik area and beyond. The house is my home, so many typical daily items in the kitchen and bathroom are available for your use.

The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!

Living room has a sofa bed suitable for one adult or two children. 4 min. walk to "Suðurver" bus stop where bus 13 takes you to the city center in 7 minutes.
