WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

A cosy, curated cottage with a rustic vibe, Ode to the Orchard is surrounded by the Adelaide Hills’ finest wineries and sits high on 16 acres. It is one of the original stone homes of the area and enjoys stunning 360 degree views of picturesque Lenswood. There is no better place to relax: soak in the gorgeous claw-foot bath looking out to the stars, enjoy that glass of local red by the fire, or try out our apple crumble recipe in the vintage wood-fired Aga.

Slow Cabin | Architecturally Designed Retreat

Escape to an architecturally-designed retreat amongst the vines of the Clare Valley. Slow Cabin is a private sanctuary created for rest, connection and slower days. Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley and nestled amidst 9 acres of vineyard, this fully renovated 1860's cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Tanunda's coffee shops and restaurants With magnificent vineyard and rural views you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in the heated plunge pool or enjoying the comfort of an open fire place. Think floor to ceiling wood, board games aplenty, cozy flax-linen sheets, birdsong and the call of native birds as you rest and recharge.

A spacious slate building circa 1850, situated at the back of a large leafy block in the historic village of Mintaro (Clare Valley), and renovated to include modern comforts. You will be delighted to discover each of the vintage displays featuring beautiful antique pieces. All within walking distance of cellar door restaurant and hotel.
