Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Kisler Cottage - Rural retreat with a view

We call our lovely cottage "Kisler Cottage". It is located on the edge of Malanda which has all amenities, shops, period hotel, RSL , cafes and restaurants. Malanda is a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Kisler Cottage is fully self contained, well appointed with quality furniture, some made by master- craftsman Victor Kisler, hence the name. The views from the cottage front deck are spectacular. So are the sunsets.

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.
