We are in Upper Douro, where the massive tourism didn´t arrive, right beside the Douro river. This is one of our 3 rooms. It has an air-conditioned, private WC (though out of the room) and a guitar. No TV. But we have a river, a boat, food, wine and the aim of making this an inspiration place.

Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Discover the charm of Suite Limão at Quinta da Ribeirinha, a calm retreat with breathtaking views of the Douro River. This suite offers a private bathroom, features a double bed (or two singles upon prior request), a kitchenette and access to the common area which features a kitchen and swimming pool. Relax over the natural landscape view over Douro River or enjoy the nearby fluvial beach. Breakfast service is not included in the price, and can be added at a cost of 25 euros per night.

If you want to be treated like a king or a queen, don't come. Now, if you want to get to know a genuine Quinta do Douro, located in a place of unique beauty and tranquility, where you will be welcomed by those who put their hands (and feet) in the production of wine, we will do our best to provide you with a beautiful stay. We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.

Double Room with private terrace and river view

The 100-year-old house is located on the outskirts of Sandomil, a picturesque village flanked by the Alva river and the majestic Serra de Estrela. Guests can enjoy the silence of the nature park from the house and make use of the barbecue area, cafe and beach in the river, while the little ones can enjoy the park at their own designated spot. There is a master bedroom with its own sitting area, another room with a sofa bed, a full kitchen and a full shower room.

Suíte Nascente - Casa dos Caseiros

If you want to be treated like a queen or a king, please don't come. If you want to be received as normal people by normal people in a real Douro farm house, we will welcome you. This is one of 2 suites (toillets inside the rooms) that share a kitchen/livingroom of an apartment adjacent to the main house of Quinta das Amendoeiras. It´s surrounded by vines, 10 minutes walking from a small beach in river Douro.

Casa sobre o Douro

Located just on the banks of Douro River, Douro Yachts & Chalets features spacious chalets, a beautiful external space with a pool and a marina, where guests can charter either motor or sailing yachts. The property offers free use of kayaks to all its guests. Douro Yachts & Chalets is 1 km from Ferradosa railway station, which has direct trains to Porto.
