Nannerth Ganol, artists retreat cottage

Nannerth Ganol is an old 16th Century farm. On our site we have The Cottage, main Longhouse with large garden and workspace for creatives. Our accommodation is busy with cyclists, walkers and music and media workers. Head into the Elan Valley and surrounding area directly from our location. It hosts people from the music industry who have come here to write/record . We are very isolated , so perfect if you want to get away from everything. You can relax/create or go explore. I also do food.

Shepherd's Hut, Off-Grid, Hot Tub and Beacons View

A 'Tiny House', off-grid Shepherd's Hut with panoramic views of the spectacular Brecon Beacons. Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Plas Y Cadno Cabin

A lovingly restored railway cabin, suitable for couples or a family with young children. The double bed folds out of the wall and the sofa doubles up as two toddler beds. The cabin is situated on a farm, you travel through the farm yard to access. The cabin is located In it’s own secluded woodland area with beautiful views of the Epynt mountains. A great base to explore the beautiful sights that mid Wales has to offer. There is a lovely electric fire in the cabin for when the nights cool off!

Tan y Dderwen is nestled in the tranquil village of Cilycwm in the beautiful Towy Valley. This modern, self-sufficient annexe manages to be simultaneously cosy, light and spacious; stunning views across the hills lend it a quiet majesty. Located between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian Mountains, you will be within touching distance of some of Wales’s most iconic landscapes, including the Celtic rainforest at RSPB Dinas. It is perfectly located for walkers, cyclists, naturalists and stargazers!

St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Little Pudding Cottage

Little Pudding Cottage 's Welsh name is Pontbren-Ddu and is a beautiful example of a country hideaway. Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

There's a woodburner for cosy nights, a wood fired hot tub for romantic evenings and a fire pit come barbecue for marshmallows. You also have a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge and mezzanine bedroom. Just for grownups this cottage has space for two adults.

On a decking in between a kitchen hut with a front porch and a bathroom hut (compost toilet/shower) next to a wood fired hot tub. A secluded spot in your own field. We are in the heart of Welsh farming land surrounded by farms so please do expect to hear working dogs, cow hearding or even a spot of late night combine harvesting in the area.
