西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Welcome to Osaka English House! We offer spacious cozy private rooms in an international english speaking environment. Located between Osaka and Kyoto in Hirakata city. Please note that we are a guesthouse and operate differently than a hotel. (Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
