Enjoy the lovely setting of this edge of village location, very close to the Grand Union Canal in the picturesque village of Braunston. Come and see what makes this part of Northamptonshire so special! Fabulous country dog walks along the canal towpath from the end of the drive. Just a short walk from several village and canalside pub restaurants. The village has a general store/post office, fish and chip shop and community cafe. Our comfortable barn is the perfect base to explore the area.

There is a daily bus service to Banbury and Daventry and from Banbury there is a train service for Oxford, London and Birmingham. Shakspeare's Stratford Upon Avon, Cropredy Festival and Silverstone are a short drive away. There is a plaque on the village hall to commemorate singer/songwriter Sandy Denny from the band Fairport Convention.

The bedroom can be made up as a twin or superking size; please tell us in advance which you’d prefer. Pets are welcome but there is no space to let them off the lead as the patio area isn’t enclosed so you will need to take them for a walk. Lockbox self check in.

The apartment consists of a large open plan studio with a Super King size bed which can convert to two singles, a television (Freeview), a sofa, a fridge, tea (an extensive choice) & coffee facilities, Nespresso machine. There is also a Breakfast table. Upstairs there is a dedicated work area that can be used as a dressing room. By arrangement, an extra bed can be made up in this room. This property provides the perfect retreat for a max of four people. Outside there’s a very large pond (practically a lake!), menage and stables. There’s also a Bar area and large private Hot Tub that you will have sole use of. If you are a rider you may bring your horse for a small additional fee.
