Located just steps from the renowned Wild Pacific Trail, Surf Grass is the ideal romantic getaway for couples or family vacations.

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

The Ship Wreck Cabin in Shirley.

Welcome to the "The Ship Wreck", a sea container in the forest. Located in the community of Shirley, stay for the escape or enjoy the local beaches, hiking, camping and surfing. The Ship Wreck is a comfortable recycled sea container, placed in the trees on my private and forested 2.5 acre property in rural Shirley BC. It is a peaceful space with a large outdoor fire pit and many amenities of home. The Ship Wreck is a "glamping" experience, but fully insulated and heated.

We designed it quite differently from other places you may have stayed-this is a capsule to recharge yourself from the busyness of your day-to-day life. You'll love the silence, the birdlife, proximity to coastal hiking trails, surf beaches, and the National Park.

The Sea Grass Studio Suite

Welcome to The Sea Grass Studio Suite. Guests are a 10 min walk to downtown Campbell River where you will find many quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. The Quadra ferry is a short walk away and is a great chance to explore a beautiful part of the Discovery Islands. Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Along with your own private outdoor seating area to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The Surf- Ocean Front-By the Beach- Outdoor Bath

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Surrounded by aromatic fir and cedar trees, this home was thoughtfully designed with polished heated concrete floors, high beam ceilings, and a wood-burning stove, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. A perfect ocean-side Suite & Sauna tucked in the trees and ferns at the end of a quiet culdesac. The newly built shipping container suite design is modern, light, clutter-free, clean, and features a Sauna / Warm Room. An ideal stay for one or two guests. Stay in and relax, or walk down the trail through the forest will find you at the ocean where you can watch the waves,  sunsets or continue walking up to China Beach. The location is quiet, safe, and comfortable.
