It is walking distance to Island Center Forest for hiking or mountain biking, and just 3/10 of a mile from Vashon town with fabulous restaurants, galleries, and wineries and breweries. Small dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. NO CATS due to allergies.

The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
