Come visit this adorable apartment in Butte, Alaska! With an amazing view of the breathtaking Pioneer Peak mountain in the backyard and the Matanuska River nearby, you will not regret spending time here. The upstairs unit is rustic, with custom made trim and wainscoting panels, the space has a log cabin feel. With decor to inspire one’s desire to explore and get in-tune with nature. It sleeps four comfortably, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and queen size mattress for extra guest to use.

Pets allowed with a private message and pet deposit. If interested in an extended stay please send a message. Large garden in the summer, Hatcher pass / Skeetawk is 10 minute drive. It is rural so we get the northern lights often and the air strip is perfect for viewing. 15 minutes from Palmer and Wasilla.

Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Guest Suite -Bigger Than a tiny home

This is a large guest suite on the first floor with Private Entrance, Private En-Suite Bathroom, Large Dressing Room, Refrigerator, microwave, dining table and sleeper sofa. The entrance is private and is accessed from the private driveway. Outside there is a bar-B-Que Grill, Firepit and yard. If a need arises during your stay, we are an email or phone call away. We look forward to hosting you. There isn't a sink in the main room.

Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more.
