Self check in, farm fresh eggs when available. 2 minutes from 690, 10 minutes from NY state fairgrounds!!! and 15 minutes from the Syracuse hospitals. Also 15 minutes from cross lake, and Weedsport racetrack. We are right next to the state trails for snowmobiling. DOGS on approval basis ONLY, with an extra 150$ pet cleaning fee. SYR second floor studio and first floor book nook in detached carriage house next to owner occupied home. Private. Modern. Authentic. Near SU, downtown, and hospitals. House backs up to beautiful Elmwood park and our family garden. Perfect for 1 or 2 (potentially 3). Great for coffee, book, and nature lovers. Stairwell to apartment is narrow and could be a challenge for some. Access to fenced private family garden if you like. We are often around and outside but the apt is very private.

This house is about 2 miles from the village, lake, restaurants, bars and most wedding venues. Enjoy the beauty of Skaneateles and then return to your own oasis on nearly an acre of manicured landscape with a wonderful deck overlooking a pond. Make time to watch the sunset with a glass of wine or the sunrise with your morning coffee . Coffee bar included with snacks. In the wintertime enjoy the wood stove (wood is provided but if you need more the Byrne Dairy has some) and games.

Stay a night at our tiny Hobbit House

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.

Located minutes from NYS 31, this modern restoration of an authentic 1850 canal home has plenty to offer to the road-weary wanderer. Situated on just under an acre of land, this historical property is diagonal to 50' of frontage of the original Erie canal. Come see our cornice brackets, restored scrollwork and much more.
