Centrally located , this warm & sunny studio is easy walking distance from the best that the city has to offer, and a short drive to airport & ferries. I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. We've recently converted it to a self-contained dwelling, so we can share what we love about the city. Cafes, shops & restaurants, walks around the harbour & hills - It's all within easy reach, or just sit back & relax.

Directly off iconic Cuba Mall in the heart of Welly, this inner-city sanctuary offers super easy access to Wellington's sights, activities and fabulous cafes/artisan stores. Well-stocked kitchenette, open alcove for artistic/office/extra space. New comfy queen bed and fold-down king single. Open for longer term stays. A little oasis in amongst the urban murmurings of the most interesting area in the city.

Work, Play & Relax CBD Location

The apartment is a well-appointed one-bedroom unit that is perfect for an overnight stay, work or if you are in Wellington for an event. Close to the Central Business area with an abundance of eateries, shops and entertainment nearby. The check-in process is easy, check-in anytime when you arrive. Please note the apartment does not come with a car park. You are able to park on the street outside the building - Paid parking $5/hour 8am -8pm. Free parking 8:pm to 8am. $2.50/hour weekends.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.
