ARLES HISTORIC HOMESTEAD. HOME OF THE GIANT QUEENSLAND KAURI TREE = 36 FT OR 11 MTRS AROUND . WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES. Only 5 min from the CBD. We have a separate self contained 2 B R lodge on the estate. There are 2 acres of botanical gardens with beautiful walkways . Our home is one of the original homesteads of Whanganui dating back to the 1880s. We are 5 min from all the main attractions Virginia Lake Waimarie Paddle Steamer Durie Hill Tower & Elevator

Keep it simple at this peaceful and well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint little guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Recently painted and carpeted. With own access. Facilities to make tea and coffee, with microwave / toaster and mini fridge and Smart TV in second room. Guest house is located next to the main dwelling, linked by beautiful decking, that guests have shared access to utilise. Our house / guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

Shannon Cottage (summer)

Comfortable cosy cottage beside Mt Ruapehu. Ideal for bikers, Tongariro Crossing hikers or photographers exploring the local scenery. Independent so you can come and go at will. Full kitchen (though basic with retro fridge and no dishwasher), TV, DVDs and Chromecast, unlimited wifi, laundry, heating & aircon. One double room and one room with 2 singles (that can push together), plus a couch bed in the living room and a travel cot. From mid-May to Oct book 'Shannon Cottage (winter)' instead.

Cosy guest sleep out with sauna on dairy farm

* No cleaning fees :) * Relax and unwind on our small peaceful farm guest sleep out. One bedroom one bathroom sleep out with kitchenette. One king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. Would suggest this for children only for the limited room. Can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance. 10 mins drive away from Kai Iwi beach and a 20-25mins drive to Whanganui. We are situated on the main highway but far enough to not hear traffic. Great location for kids to run around.

Cosy Cottage Retreat Motuoapa

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

The Crib

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft. There is heaps of parking for trailers etc. Wake up and listen to the bird song - we hope you will love this place as much as we do!

Separate entrance from the two shops downstairs. Off street parking. Located between McDonald and Burger King you'll never go hungry! Awesome cafes, bars, restaurants close by. Not suitable for children. Can be noisy with traffic. Please note entry is up a spiral staircase.
