Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..

Maunder Cottage Aldinga Township

We recognize the Kaurna people whose land holds our little cottage. Situated in Aldinga Township Maunder Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage that is self contained. It has one bedroom with Queen size bed. It has a fully renovated bathroom with a deep bath suitable for two people. The walls in the lounge room are made from limestone dug from the property. The building itself used to be the vets. We live in the house adjacent to the cottage. Our home was built in 1842.

Only 500 metres walk to the beautiful Moana Beach, and a 7 minute drive to the tourist hot spot of McLaren Vale. The Willunga Markets are close by and the area has plenty of walking trails as well as surf beaches and kayaking. Includes light breakfast provisions and pod coffee machine. Comfortable bright and airy cottage situated within easy walking distance of restaurants, hotels and the famous Willunga Farmers' Market, in the heart of this delightful historic township less than an hour's drive south of Adelaide. A great base from which to explore the beautiful McLaren Vale wine region and nearby southern beaches. Ideal location for Tour Down Under, Sea & Vines, Almond Blossom Festival, Fleurieu Folk Festival and Day on the Green events.

The large front yard and courtyard is surrounded by a beautiful garden that provides private sanctuary and local bird habitat.
