Coast, countryside and towns at your fingertips

Recently refurbished one bed accommodation suitable for up to four people (and one well behaved dog) but please note 3rd and 4th guest will be using the sofa bed in the living room. Use of the wc and shower is accessed via the main bedroom. Plenty of storage for our guests is available and there is a large patio area with barbecue and table and chairs for your sole use. There is also one off road parking space available. We have great links to the Jurassic coast, market towns and Country walks

Peaceful cottage in West Dorset - AONB

A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

During lockdown we have renovated and updated our guest house. We are excited to welcome you to our idyllic rural retreat, far away from the hustle, bustle and stresses of everyday life. The top floor of the stable has been lovingly converted with a big bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and large sitting room. With beautiful views south across the picturesque valley, our small garden overlooks Forde Abbey, with views of the magnificent avenue of trees, and the highest powered fountain in the country. Our cottage has been converted with the intention of creating a luxurious and peaceful space. The kirami wood fired hot tub has to be experienced to be fully appreciated in this amazing setting.
