This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Many items are vintage or made by us. We have purposefully chosen amenities that are low waste and environmentally conscious. As a welcome to our guests, we provide fresh eggs from our flock of chickens, homemade granola, milk, fresh fruit, coffee and tea!

We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as place for our parents to stay in the summer. In the winter, it's yours! It's an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.
