Birgu/Vittoriosa is a medieval city surrounded by fortified walls and flanked by a sleek marina. The parish church is dedicated to St. Lawrence. It is one of the oldest cities, playing an important role in the Siege of Malta in 1565. The 0.5 km2 city is located on the south side of the Valletta Grand Harbour, with a long history of military and maritime activities. Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Aragonese and The Knights of Malta all shaped and developed Birgu.

Located very close to the seafront in Marsascala. Full of character apartment in one of Malta's seaside villages. It is equipped with two bedrooms, a modern kitchen and living room and also a primary and secondary bathrooms. The price covers all electrical costs, including 3 ACs. My refurbished seafront first floor apartment facing the historical town of Senglea is situated in the victorious city of Birgu (Vittoriosa). Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.

This is a private studio apartment with its own private elevated entrance (10 stairs). It is served with private shower, kitchenette equipped with microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, breakfast table and air-conditioning. Forming part of the first floor in our house, it is designed to accommodate two guests for short let holidays.
