The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

With fresh paint and brand new furnishings you will find this farm/ranch home a classy way to spend time in the country and away from the city. Look out the window and you will see livestock, pheasants, wild turkey, and many other things a farm and ranch has to offer. Sit on the private deck and watch the beautiful Nebraska sunsets.

The Shop House

Finally, somewhere to stay in Bertrand Nebraska - Unique property. It is a shop house (or Barndominium). loft-style living room over 2 bedrooms, one bath. Living room seats 12, dining table sits 8+2 at the island. The rest of the building is the owners own space, but can be utilized if there is a need. Options for washer & dryer + second bathroom are available. Great for family gatherings or visits, executive overnights, hunting or whatever brings you to town.

We service the working community for the railroad, hospital, ethanol plant and more.
