In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome too!

Coffee machine/milk frother, fridge, microwave, toaster, portable hob and kettle. Tea/coffee, porridge and cereal provided. Snacks left on arrival - pastry/ biscuits, fruit and dairy items. Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. Loch Ardinning John Muir way. falconry centre all walking distance.

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.
