Only an hour drive from Chicago, and close to Indiana Dunes National Park, it is the ultimate escape. The Coach House is in an eclectic neighborhood on Lake Michigan. Grand Mere State Park is a year around beautiful place for hiking by small lakes and through beautiful sand dunes. A small beach is a 2 minute walk away. The family room and kitchen face Lake Michigan with lots of windows. The house has a queen bedroom, queen pullout in family room, and laundry. A gas FIRE PIT and a HOT TUB are located on the back patio directly on Lake Michigan with a spectacular view behind the main house.

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. High speed internet & YouTubeTV provide entertainment options.
