Meine Unterkunft befindet sich in Strickscheid. Ein sehr kleines, ruhig gelegenes Dorf im Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, im Dreiländereck Deutschland-Belgien-Luxemburg. Beide Nachbarländer sind ca 25 Autominuten von dieser Unterkunft entfernt. Du wirst meine Unterkunft lieben, wegen der sehr ruhigen Lage (Alleinlage) und dem schönen Ausblick. Meine Unterkunft ist gut geeignet für Paare, Alleinreisende Abenteurer, Geschäftsreisende, Familien (mit kindern) und pelzige Freunde (Haustiere).

Der Posthalterhof wurde um 1683 erbaut als Posthaltestation von Thurn und Taxis als Station zwischen Köln und Trier. Mitten in Blankenheim, keine 200 Meter Luftlinie von der Ahrquelle, ist der Posthalterhof mit das älteste Gebäude in Blankenheim. Im Zentrum von Blankenheim, direkt am Eifelsteig und dem Jacobsweg gelegen, bietet er Gästen, wie schon vor 300 Jahren, ein Quartier.
