This is a historic place that was born out of a fire in 1906 and rebuilt in 1907 as the dry goods store. The open floor plan is 1400 feet of room to relax and there is even more to explore in this water front neighborhood. Boaters and fishermen love this place. Our place is a cute home in an up and coming, very safe community. We actually live here full time, and AirBnB it while traveling. WiFi is available. Kitchen is at your disposal. There is a dedicated workspace in the study. Yes, a whole room just for that. And of course a big tv to relax at night, unless you chose to go out and explore local nightlife! Please note that due to certain restrictions we are exempt from hosting guests with dogs or cats even if they are service animals.

You'll love this clean & bright basement studio w/private entrance! Bonus - We donate 10% of our earnings to groups supporting LGBTQIA rights & fighting food insecurity! We have a small dog and a cat. Smudge & Commander Muffins won't be in your space while you're with us (& are rarely there otherwise), but if you have animal allergies, this is likely not the best place for you. A short drive to downtown Royal Oak, Ferndale, Birmingham, and also to fabulous & historic Detroit.

Private Lake House Suite

Very nice private suite in lake house on col de sac at private lake in our home. If you like peace and quiet in nature setting this is it. Property is on a hillside, so guests are required to use steps and slanted walkways. We live above the suite and would like to share this beautiful place with you. Parking: please park on the street right in front of our house. Don't turn around in the neighbor's driveway across the street.
