Our trip starts from Kardamyli’s old harbor, the place we meet. The activity includes 30 min preparation time, 2-2,5 hours paddling exploration 1 hour break for rest,swimming and snorkeling. Before departure, we brief you on trip details, kayak paddling techniques and safety measures. Soon we get into our kayaks and begin a coastal exploration at a relaxed paddling pace. Each little cove hides a special surprise such as hidden sea caves, rock gardens, cliffs with spectacular formation, hidden sandy and pebble beaches. One of the top attractions of this trip is a visit to the Blue Cave. A spectacular natural phenomenon where sunlight passing through a crack in the cave reflects on the sea floor and bathes the entire cave in aquamarine light. A swim into the cave is a must do and a lifetime experience. Weather and time permitting we may head to Stoupa for a stop at the beach of Kalogria with its fine golden sand and turquoise waters. Halfway we make a relaxing stop for swimming, snorkeling and rest. Once the lunch stop is over we paddle back to the starting point to end an adventurous day spent in the coastline of the Mani. The trip starts from the beautiful beach Mikros Gialos , we paddling near the coast in south east direction. We have the chance to observe the amazing geological formations and learn information, from the guides, about the geological phenomena and the interesting history of the area. The final destination of our trip is the spectacular Blue Cave with the hidden entrance. However, until we reach our final destination, we will make many stops on remote beaches for swimming and snorkeling, and we will be given the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful seabed full of big red starfish. On our way back, we will visit another small cave, which offers shelter to small seals during the winter months. A truly amazing sea route for everyone who wants to enjoy the sun, the unique experience of sea kayak and the beautiful Ionian Sea. We welcome you at our meeting spot at the ferry point on Poros Island. Then we take you on a short drive to our start spot in Russian Bay. After a short introduction we jump into the kayaks and start paddling around the island for some amazing photos. Our journey takes us to a small and beautiful island of Daskalio with a little church on it where still marriages take place. We will continue to Love Bay and the calm little gulf of Neorio where we will see beautiful boats and enjoy the nature. As the sun sets down we will slowly kayak back and on our way keep our breath for the views – just relaxing and being in the moment. You will feel the beauty and magic of the sunset in this area.
