1950's renovated house with lots of original character next to Hawks Nest State Park and close to 2 more State Parks, in a quiet neighborhood and within a few minutes to all the New River Gorge National Park has to offer. 15 minutes from historic Fayetteville and the New River Gorge Bridge, central to whitewater rafting and rock climbing companies. We have 3 outdoor spaces and a bbq area. Our covered deck is 18' long and has a picnic table and other seating and the front porch has a nice swing

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. We are just 20 minutes from winter place, 30 minutes from the new river gorge and four minutes from Raleigh General hospital. Ideal place for skiers, rafters, or travel nurses. Inside has been newly renovated and includes 2br with queen beds, 1 full bath with onsite laundry and off street parking (until weather permits for driveway to be poured.) This is the sister property to Wild and Wonderful Westwood.

Park your car, ride single track trails from the house. Kayakers will be half way between the put in and take out for the New River. Secluded feeling, yet Fayetteville is only 3 miles away via trail or car.

Enjoy your visit to the New River Gorge Park and Preserve by staying at this luxury log cabin in the woods. This cabin is located south of downtown Fayetteville but convenient to all recreational activities. The cabin boasts a cathedral ceiling in the living room with lots of windows letting in the evening light. The wrap around porch provides ample seating to enjoy the environment. Remote but accessible small cozy family home/cabin with 2-bedroom and 1 bath. 2 twin beds, 1 queen, and 1 pull out couch. Quiet and peaceful with woods surrounding area on 2 acres. House was built in the 1960's but some renovations have been done on the inside. Near route 60 off of old route 41. Located 5 miles from Babcock state park, 15 miles from New River Gorge Bridge, and 2 miles from Clifftop. This is a weekend getaway for our family, we do not live on the premises.
