Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

The Beached Van

The Beached Van has come to rest in a private space amongst the Moonah trees at the back of our coastal landscaped garden. From your off street parking space a path leads to the renovated 1970’s caravan with all the creature comforts. The van has a queen bed, lounge area and kitchenette and a relaxed, coastal style. It is sheltered under a veranda with a deck area for lounging, a patio heater and BBQ. Stairs through the garden lead to the luxurious bathroom with floor heating and a big bath tub.

Delatite River Caravan stay

Our caravan has all the ammenities you need with stunning views. A stones throw away to a beautiful waterfall walks and a short 5 min drive to Mt Buller / Mt Stirling ski resorts . Local Winery's and Brewery 's and a heaps of fantastic restaurants and bars .' Walk the river or drive to the ski slopes. You'll love this unique and romantic escape.

Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. With respect to the Taungurung people, they belong to one of two moieties – The ancestral beings Bundjil (wedge-tail eagle ) and Waang ( Crow ) “Wings” pays respect to our traditional owners. This Glamper sleeps 2 people and has everything you need including a kitchenette, BBQ, ensuite, heating and cooking. Mountain View Caravan stay.

We have a renovated caravan permanently on site next to our home. 1 hour to beaches, about 2 hours to snow. Camp shower & waterless compost in private courtyard next to caravan. Please note we have at times very strong seasonal winds come through our area which can at times really buffet the caravan. Usually from June to October. Apart from weather reports we have very little or no warning of the winds.
