The ideal location if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all yet still want to explore the beauty and adventures of our town/state. Very private, with the entire cabin and property to yourself. Enjoy relaxing on the decks or soaking in the hot tub while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature.

You'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the deck and the view but when you move inside you'll have a comfortable queen bed and a futon to sleep on. A basic kitchen has everything you need.

Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Only 2/10's of a mile from The Endless Wall Trail, an easy 5-minute walk from the cabin. If you are an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, rock-climbing, white-water rafting, etc..., or just want to get away from the big city, you're not going to find a better place.

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun! The chalet is conveniently located one mile from Summersville Lake (Battle Run Recreation Area), 22-miles from the New River Gorge National Park, and four miles from the Upper Gauley River rafting and kayaking put-in.
