The house was originally a shepherd’s barn that we renovated and extended over the years. While preserving the traditional local architecture, we chose a décor inspired by the countries where we have lived. You will therefore find pieces brought back from Egypt, Mexico, and other places around the world. With more than 7,000 m² of landscaped garden, the property offers several distinct areas, with lavender, fruit trees, and open views of the Luberon. Everyone can choose their favorite spot to take a nap to the sound of cicadas. Set away from the main streets, the house enjoys true peace and complete privacy, with no overlooking neighbors. A play area is also available for children. Inside, you will have a large living room with a fireplace for winter evenings, a spacious dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms each with a double bed and a private bathroom with toilet, as well as a children’s room with two bunk beds (four beds total) and a bathroom with a bathtub. All rooms are air-conditioned, although it is rarely necessary. Outside, everything is in place for enjoyable moments: a Weber gas barbecue, a large table for family meals or dinners with friends, several deckchairs, sun loungers, and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunshine or the shaded corners of the garden. The large bar in the pool house creates a particularly pleasant setting for evening drinks by the pool. The swimming pool measures 14 m x 4 m, is secured with an electric cover, and heated to 25 degrees, allowing you to swim comfortably from May to the end of September. Bed linen and towels are provided. A washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher are available for your use. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning is included each week. Rates vary depending on the season, and for longer stays in low season, we can adjust prices for medium-term rentals. The fiber-optic Wi-Fi connection makes it easy to work remotely while enjoying a peaceful, green environment.

Nous vous accueillons toute l'année au cœur du Luberon dans une location de caractère avec piscine privative et chauffée, ouverte d'avril à octobre, en pleine campagne. Le Bastidon se situe à 1 km du village de Villars où se trouve une boulangerie, le Bar des Amis et un restaurant, Golf à 500 m avec son restaurant. Les ocres, Le Luberon et ses villages, les circuits de randonnées, de vélo ou de VTT sont à proximité. Le Bastidon possède tout le confort actuel et il offre un séjour au calme.
