Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Please when booking with us keep inconsideration that this is an older country home 🏡 that we’ve fixed up alittle but not perfect, built in 1940’s. With that being said you can enjoy our small community from Belews Lake and Hanging Rock State Park 30 minutes away . We offer downtown shopping and tubing as well . Greensboro and Winston Salem are 30 minutes away. We have plenty of space for bringing your boats / jet skis for parking to our nearest belews Lake 14 minutes away

Need a break from the stress of the daily grind? Come and clear your head and recharge in 26+ acres of serenity. Sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and maybe even see a few of the many deer or turkeys that roam the property. You will take a right by the Hope sign and come upon this adorable one bedroom cottage. You will enjoy this newly remodeled home. It features a wrap around porch, deck with grill and it’s own personal lavender garden by the fire pit. It is peaceful and cozy.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

Your group will enjoy easy access to everything the City and Southwestern Virginia has to offer from this centrally located, spacious house. You will be within walking distance of Uptown, the Dick & Willie Trail, and the Virginia Museum of Natural History. This historic home was one of three homes built by the Simmons family. Dick Simmons, president of American Furniture Company built and lived in this home.
