Built in 1969, the cabin completed a 2.5 year renovation in 2023 to meet modern tastes and amenities but keeps the original 60's groovy vibe. This unique family retreat offers a 900 sq ft deck, hot tub, firepits, and stunning views. Julian, a 1.5 hours drive east from San Diego, is a small town with big activities: hiking, biking, fishing, winery/breweries, winter sledding, apple pie eating.

Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. Experience the charm of our newly renovated A-frame, just a 5 min drive from downtown Julian. Surrounded by hiking trails and wineries, our cabin is an ideal spot to create lasting memories with loved ones. Take in stunning views from the deck, the living room or while sitting at our unique bar. (We have a new AC installed, so you can stay cool these summer months!) Bedroom 1 is a spacious bedroom with a king sized bed. Bedroom 2 in the spacious loft, with 1 queen and 2 twin beds.

The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.
