The Oystercatcher - Stunning Sea Views

If you are looking for a quiet, cosy and stylish hideaway located above the beach with stunning sea views nearby then the Oystercatcher Pod is your ideal holiday base. Located in the township of Fiscavaig, on the beautiful Isle of Skye, the Oystercatcher is well equipped, with an enclosed garden and we also welcome well behaved pets. Situated above pretty Fiscavaig Bay with direct access to the beach through our croft and close to popular attractions the Talisker Distillery and the Fairy Pools.

Loch Harport Pods, Isle of Skye Tulip pod

Loch Harport Pods are situated in an area on the Isle of Skye, called Fernilea. Overlooking the impressive and beautiful Loch Harport, this quiet crofting community is one mile past the world famous Talisker distillery, one of many fabulous attractions the Island has to offer. Other near-by must see's are the Fairy pools on the road to Glen Brittle, and also Talisker beach. The pods are equipped with a mini fridge, cooking and dining facilities. One double bed, a sofa bed and electric shower.

Crofters Cabin, Struan, Isle of Skye

Our log cabin is situated on our traditional working croft in Bracadale on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Nestled in the lovely quiet Totarder Glen, you will find just what you need for a restful break. The perfect place to enjoy the abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. Apart from sheep and cows, it is more than likely that you will spot the Sea Eagles flying overhead and landing in the crags opposite the cabin. Herons, Oyster Catchers and Otters are often seen at the head of the loch

The Studio is a contemporary eco building, cosy whatever the weather, with a wood burning stove. It has been designed by award winning architects Rural Design. The Studio is close to The Cuillin mountains, Talisker Distillery, Loch Bracadale. You can walk out from the studio directly into the landscape to the beach, sea cliffs and beautiful birch woods. Recently renovated Cabin Cùil boasts stunning views over the Cuillin mountain range and Loch Harport. Situated in the idyllic township of Carbost, the Fairy Pools and Talisker Distillery are within a 10 minute drive with Portree just 25 minutes away. From the house, you can take a lovely coastal walk along the shores of Loch Harport. There's lots of places to eat nearby, including Café Cùil, The Old Inn & the Oyster Shed. Or enjoy a cosy night in beside the new wood burning stove!

Nestled in a secluded corner of Portnalong is Molly's Den. Molly's Den is the perfect escape for couples and solo travellers. Ideally situated for access to the Cuillin Hills and centrally located for travelling around the rest of the island - having a car is essential.

Craighaven, Tiny House Isle of Skye

Craighaven is a modern self catering studio designed to have all the conveniences of home on a small scale. It is a detached building in the grounds of our home located in Fiscavaig with beautiful mountain & loch views over the bay. The area benefits from pub serving food, cafes, a community shop, post office & the famous Talisker Distillery. In the Minginish area we are an ideal central base for exploring both the North & South of the Island. 10% off weekly stays.

Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).

Greyhound Cottage, Carbost

Greyhound Cottage is an ideal base for exploring Skye with many things to see and do close by. It is perfect for couples, families (including dogs) or groups of friends. Our cottage is located right next to The Old Inn which serves great home cooked meals and a good variety of hot and cold drinks including a wide range of local ales and spirits. The inn has weekly live music too with a mix of traditional Scottish sessions and other genres.

My cosy, bright and spacious cottage is has a fully equipped kitchen with an extendable breakfast bar area, two large bedrooms, one king-size bed and one doublebed. There is a cosy living room furnished with a sofa and two arm chairs, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring this beautiful island. The cottage has uninterrupted views of the Cuillins, Macleods Maidens and Loch Harport.

Tullochgorm is a refurbished cottage in a stunning location with breathtaking views. The famous Talisker Distillery and Fairy Pools being only 2 minutes and 15 minutes drive respectively.
