The Photographer’s House

My house is a old small two level house with traditional Cycladic architecture renovated during 2019, wedged in the alleys of the old and well preserved capital of Serifos island, named Chora. Due to its topography and the complex network of narrow alleys, there are no vehicles allowed only mules. This makes it an ideal location for guests who appreciate simplicity and authenticity, combined with quietness and a splendid panoramic view to the Aegean sea, away from the noisy port of Livadi.

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The house is only 90 steps(usually are more than 200) from the Kamini sea side road but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Villa Helena is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the vast tourist crowds in the middle of the island at the picturesque settlement of Mesaria. The house is very close to the airport and Fira, the capital. The Villa provides two bedrooms and a cozy loft. There is also a big living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two main bathrooms, a backyard with BBQ, and a beautiful terrace with the plunge pool (not heated).

The "House in the center of Hydra" is a two floor apartment, located less than a minute away from the port. Built during the 19th century but recently renovated and redecorated, it is the first year that it is available for rent. The house's original style was maintained and enhanced with contemporary decorative ideas, resulting in a simple and comfortable yet luxurious outcome.
