Nearby sites to see are Death Valley National Park, Ash Meadow Wildlife Preserve, The Amargosa Opera House, Rhyolite and more. Eating places nearby are El Valle Mexican restaurant and Longstreet Casino and Stateline Saloon Pets are welcomed!

~ U.S. National Park Service says that the entrances and roads into DVNP will remain open and accessible during the government shutdown. NPS will provide emergency services. ~ Designed To Death is a stunning, well appointed vacation house set on a private hill with incredible mountain and sunset views. Plush beds, huge living/kitchen/dining rooms, log-burning fireplace, landscaped palm tree filled patios— all in a quaint town known for the wild burros that wander its charming streets.

Two active Gold mining operations: Mother Lode Project and the AngloGold Ashanti's Bullfrog Project are near.

Vineyard Bottling Room outside of Death Valley NP

The Bottling Room at Tarantula Ranch Vineyard is a private guest studio situated next to our families micro-vineyard located outside of Death Valley National Park in the Mojave Desert. The room was formally used for crushing, bottling, and aging wine but we have completely remodeled it into a small studio with queen bed, sitting area, kitchenette, powder room, and outdoor shower. Aside from the vineyard view, enjoy the wild desert views and amazing night skies while visiting.

Desert Nights Getaway

We're a pleasant drive from many points of interest including Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Ash Meadows and much more! Enjoy a quiet evening watching a movie on Netflix or visit one of the local casinos for fun and excitement. Nighttime view of the desert sky is breathtaking. Enjoy! You’ll love my place because of privacy, fenced yard, clean and cozy, front deck to have coffee or cocktails while enjoying the peaceful desert.
