It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It now has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, deck, and laundry room all on one level and with wide doors to make it wheelchair friendly. My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.
