Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

At the Wyndham Resort, just down the road is recreational fun for everyone with a pass.

The home is a spacious mountain home with a game room and outdoor fire pit on the Horse Pasture River. It has a screened in side porch and upper and lower decks all with comfortable lounging furniture. There is an outdoor table that seats 10 and a propane grill. There are 4 bedrooms each with their own bath, including 3 king beds, a queen bunk bed and a twin bed. The home is equipped with a sound system throughout the home and 6 smart TV's. All appliances are upscale.
