The historic mining property of The Ranch of The Rising Sun was designed and restored as a completely off-grid haven by filmmakerJulian T Pinder. The Ranch of the Rising Sun, a mining base camp built in the 1920's, is the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. Off grid on a full solar system and water well, the home also provides high speed wifi, state of the art cooling and heating systems on a smart NEST thermostat, flatscreen tv with Netflix, Amazon etc, new top of the line oven / stovetop, vintage sound system with Bluetooth capabilities, keyless door entry etc. Guests have access to the entire house and property, including the wood burning stove (eucalyptus firewood is provided at all times free of cost), cowboy wood burning hot tub / cool dipping pool, grand piano, native cactus garden, fire pit, outdoor banquet dining table, hammock, alkaline drinking water, and some of the best hiking in the area right out the back door. The house and property are also right off of Pioneertown Road, with no long rough dirt roads to navigate and beat your car up on. The ranch was built and owned by Julian Pinder, who has lived in the area for years. Rent from locals, not out-of-town investors! Entire house and property, as well as endless hiking and adventuring right behind the house on thousands of acres of stunning Wildlands Conservancy land, no tourists or park fees to deal with, just old fashioned exploring! There are detailed self-check in instructions. Tyler, my friend and property manager lives nearby and I'm 5 miles away at my other ranch. We respect your privacy 100% but if you need any advice, help, or have any questions we are always available by text or phone 24 hours a day. Pioneertown was built in the late 40's as a functioning movie set by Roy Rogers and the Sons of Pioneers; hundreds of Westerns have been shot here. Catch live music at Pappy and Harriets, minutes away, and go hiking and horseriding out the back door. Unfortunately you'll need a vehicle out here, it's rural! *There's a very strict maximum of 4 guests in the house as the solar and septic system cannot handle any more than that.

Our bungalow is nicely suited for 2, features a separate kitchen, a 3/4 bath, & large main room for sleeping or relaxing. We offer a private entrance with carport parking. Yard is fenced, with dog door, up to 2pets are welcome. Centrally located, within minutes of the airport, downtown and the University of Arizona. We are within walking distance to Reid Park for golfing or a visit to the Zoo. Even though we are midtown with easy access to many areas of town, you will find it surprisingly quiet.

Coffee shops, boutiques, new and reused furniture, army surplus, food coop, thrift stores, museums, herb store, art galleries, Gila National Forest, Leopold Wilderness, CDT, festivals and more, Too much to list.

The Casita (large studio type) sits up above Sulphur Springs Valley at 4400', much cooler temps, over looking Cochise Stronghold and the Dragoon Mountains. Secluded, and views galore. Chirachua National Monument, Whitewater Preserve, Fort Bowie, Willcox, good food, wineries, old western town. If you have horses, we have accommodations on our other property for them . Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Welcome to Shangri-La! A unique, private, and magical setting right in the middle of Cloudcroft. Almost half a fenced acre where you can wander the grounds, enjoy the fire pit, read in the cozy separate office, or grill on the barbecue. Within walking distance of the Lodge and golf course, or the Village boardwalk for shopping. Lots of personal touches! Cabin Tulum VIP

The Cabin Tulum is located on top of a cliff of a camping and surfing place, far from the city; however, the cabin has total privacy since this area of the cliff will only have access to you as a guest. The Tulum cabin has what is necessary to spend an unforgettable night with your partner, has a garden area with table and grill (but has no kitchen), know and you will not regret it, it will be an unforgettable memory. A-Frame in the Clouds

Remote A-Frame off-grid cabin with expansive ocean and mountain views. On a clear day, enjoy an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean. The A-Frame is located in a former avocado grove that is slowly being re-established with diverse permaculture. Everything is provided for cooking and eating, as well as a hot shower and composting toilet. The bed will be made for you with clean bedding.
