The charming brick building is in near original condition, despite surviving a major flood and a derecho. You'll love the gorgeous woodwork, vintage tile and light fixtures. But you'll appreciate some modern touches like air conditioning, an updated kitchen and smart tv. Still, it's easy to imagine the stories these walls could tell.

Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

This newly remodeled 4-plex is conveniently located near, Czech Village, and New Bohemia. Close to many restaurants, Breweries, local shops, and bars with live music venues. Steps away from bike\walking trail, and Mt Trashmore. 30 min to Amana Colonies, 30 mins Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Minutes away from several other venues in Cedar Rapids, Ia. Guests especially love the clawfoot tub (unless mobility is an issue) with rainfall showerhead.

Originally the first floor of a 1900 home for railroad workers in Marion, it is now a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment we call the Irish hill. A completely separate 1 bedroom apartment (also on Airbnb) is the top half of the house, and we call that the Uptown B! Check it out on our host profile. Irish hill guests will have access to a .25 acre yard (unfenced). Only blocks away from uptown Marion!
