We’ve spotted bald eagles, deer, ducks, geese, great blue heron, golden eagle, fox, beaver, bear and wild turkey from the comfort of the cabin. One hour from the Twin Cities, it’s the perfect cabin getaway for couples, friends, and families. Located on private acreage in Amery, WI you will be near rivers, lakes, hiking trails and all that Northern Wisconsin has to offer.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Secluded Lake, Game Room, Sauna, Pontoon

Renovated cabin nestled high in the pines overlooking the river. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space where the river views will take your breath away. We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

Crooked Creek Retreat

Delightful, private cedar log home on twenty acres with open yard, valley, woods and prairie. A lumberjack’s dream come true! A cozy place for winter retreats next to the pot belly stove or summer family bonding moments, art retreats and gatherings. Adirondacks around the fire pit to enjoy star gazing, watching lightning bugs or soft snowfall. One of its kind in this area- perhaps the whole state! Authentic cedar log cabin- quality experience with vintage charm.

Lakeview Retreat

Our place is a welcoming tranquil retreat. The modern home is set on 88 acres of land, which includes beautiful views (no lake access) of nearby Bass Lake. The house can accommodate 8 people in comfort. The land includes extensive walking trails to view the abundance of wildlife. Siren, Webster and Danbury are located within miles to the West and Shell Lake and Spooner are to the East, with Duluth and Hayward approximately an hour away.

Scandinavian Lake Cabin Ideal for Romantic Getaway

Peace and relaxation await at this newly-renovated lake cabin where modern amenities meet Scandinavian simplicity.
