A hike on the nature conservancy trail right outside the front door and chasing fireflies at dusk make this an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Quaint downtown Saluda offers varied dining options and numerous breweries close by offer a refreshing break after tubing down the Green River or hiking down to gaze at a waterfall.

Enjoy locally roasted coffee on the screened porch, s'mores by the fire pit & dinner under the pergola. Cook in the semi custom kitchen. Sleep on comfy queen beds w/ soft cotton sheets. Enjoy pickle ball (use our set!) at Tuxedo Park. Walk/bike around beautiful Lake Summit. Flat Rock: 3 miles, Hendersonville: 8 miles, Travelers Rest: 22 miles, Asheville: 35 miles. Ride Rock Creek Bike Park: 7 miles. Well-mannered pets are welcomed, they will love the fenced-in yard.

The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.
