Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Il mio alloggio è una tipica casa indipendente di campagna in Toscana, tutta in pietra e legno sapientemente restaurata nel rispetto della tradizione. Si trova nella prima collina di Camaiore a 9 Km dal mare della Versilia e a 25 m di macchina dalla bellissima città di Lucca. Un territorio naturalmente predisposto al "bien vivre" grazie ad un'armonica combinazione fra natura, cultura e buon cibo.Vicina alle città d'arte più iconiche: Pisa, Firenze, Siena, Le 5 Terre, le Alpi Apuane, Pietrasanta

A soli 9 km dalle mura di Lucca e vicino a Pisa(20 km), Viareggio (20 km), Garfagnana (45 km) e Firenze (90 km), è la base perfetta per esplorare la Toscana.

Scopri il fascino della Torre medievale dell’XI secolo completamente originale dell’epoca, nel cuore di Lucca, un tempo dimora degli architetti della Cattedrale di San Martino e poi casa del campanaro. Si trova ai piedi del campanile, ma le campane non suonano mai, garantendo quiete e riposo. Arredi originali, aria condizionata, Wi-Fi veloce, biancheria di qualità, vista sulla Cattedrale e sulle mura, piccolo spazio esterno, grandi letti artigianali italiani e parcheggio privato davanti casa.

Villa Dolci Colline sul Mare is a typical chalet of the Apuan slopes, with an abundance of wood and Florentine terracotta, immersed in a secular olive grove facing south, on the side of one of the most beautiful hills in Tuscany. The spectacular view embraces a large part of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Relaxation and tranquility are guaranteed. Adjacent to the villa, the new swimming pool, built this year, with waterfall hydromassage, awaits you to enjoy the heady fragrance of the Tuscan countryside.

Casa Giulio

An old stone house hidden in an olive grove with a sea view, where no car ever passes. Tuscan countryside in every direction — pure peace and quiet. The house is not easily accessible by car, so on the day of arrival and departure we will personally transport your luggage directly to the door. We are also happy to arrange your first grocery shopping in advance, delivered to the house. It is approximately 500 metres on foot from the parking area to the house. The sea is 20 minutes by car.

Chiesino Dei Vaioni

Antica chiesa sconsacrata risalente ai primi del 900, originariamente costruita come cappella privata di Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni ha una struttura a loft con due camere matrimoniali su due soppalchi distinti. All’esterno cucina con forno a legna, giardini privato con viale alberato ed oliveto. I cancelli e le scale interne furono costruiti dalla Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni è immerso nella campagna toscana a pochi minuti dalla città.

BorgoMetato - Fico

There is a place a few steps away from the famous Versilia (Tuscany) called Borgo Metato Toscana. Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. Il FICO is part of this place.
